FAQs & Rules

For the comfort and safety of all patrons, please respect the following rules:

  • Admission to Top of the Park is free, but it’s your support that keeps us vital—donations of $5 per person and $10 per family are encouraged every time you visit TOP
  • Please, no outside food or beverages—when you support festival food and beverage vendors, you’re helping to keep TOP admission free—cheers to that
  • No riding bicycles, roller blades, or skateboards inside the event area—please ride your bike to the festival, then lock it up on one of the many bike racks available throughout the site
  • For everyone’s enjoyment of the event no smoking on the festival grounds—U-M is a smoke-free campus
  • No outside solicitations or unauthorized vending within one block of the festival grounds
  • No dogs or other pets allowed, except personal assistance dogs
  • Shirts and shoes are required
  • No wading or playing in the fountain
  • No climbing trees
  • No alcohol outside the fenced beverage garden

And Be Sure to Bring These…

  • Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, lawn blankets, strollers, wagons, and folding chairs
  • Photo ID for access to the beverage garden
  • Heaps of smiling friends
  • A sense of adventure
  • Dancing shoes

Other Tips

  • Outside ATM available at Top of the Park
  • We accept credit cards for beverages and merchandise, as do food vendors
  • Lost and found is available at the Information Tent—all unclaimed items will be donated to local charities at the end of the summer
  • First Aid is available at the festival Information Tent next to The Top Shop
  • Hand-held personal umbrellas are welcome, but leave your large lawn umbrellas that get inserted into the grass at home
  • Festival map and performance lineup is available at a2sf.org
  • Stay current on weather updates, show times, and the latest festival news through A2SF’s social media alerts
  • Be sure to wear your “I Gave” sticker while you are at TOP to show your support of the festival
